Delete Your BiteIQ Account and Data

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently delete your account and what happens to your data.

Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, you cannot recover your nutrition logs, meal history, progress data, or any other information associated with your account.

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1: Through the App

  1. Open the BiteIQ app on your device
  2. Go to Settings or Profile
  3. Scroll down to find "Account Settings"
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Follow the confirmation prompts to complete the deletion

Option 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include: Your registered email address and confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account

What Data Will Be Deleted

✓ Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted

  • • Personal profile information (name, age, height, weight)
  • • All nutrition logs and meal history
  • • Food preferences and dietary restrictions
  • • Health goals and progress tracking
  • • Water intake records
  • • App usage data and preferences
  • • Photos and food images
  • • Coaching insights and AI recommendations

⚠ Data That May Be Retained

  • • Transaction records for legal and tax compliance
  • • Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics
  • • Support ticket communications (if any)
  • • Data required for fraud prevention

Retained data cannot be linked back to your personal identity and is kept for legal compliance only.

Deletion Timeline

Within 30 Days

Complete deletion of all personal data and account information

Immediate: Account access is disabled
Within 7 days: Personal data removed from active systems
Within 30 days: Complete removal from backups and archives
